Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

General Provisions

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines constraints and requirements for Users when utilizing virtual private servers (VPS/VDS), NAT VPS, and related services from Cheap-Host.

Usage of Cheap-Host servers must strictly comply with the laws of the equipment hosting countries (Russia, Germany) and the Russian Federation. The account owner is fully liable for all actions executed via their credentials.

Prohibited Content and Activities

It is strictly prohibited to host, store, stream, or distribute the following content on Cheap-Host servers:

Adult 18+ content, child sexual exploitation material, animal cruelty, terrorist and extremist content;
Distribution of narcotics, controlled psychoactive substances, or unlicensed prescription drugs;
Unlicensed software, warez, pirated content, or any materials violating copyrights (including DMCA notices);
Online gambling, unlicensed casinos, Ponzi schemes (HYIP), or fraudulent investment projects;
Malware, keyloggers, stealers, ransomware, and phishing landing pages created to steal user credentials.

Prohibited Network Activity

Any activities that harm network infrastructure or other Internet resources are strictly prohibited:

Organizing, participating in, or launching DoS/DDoS attacks, stress-testing without prior written consent, botnet hosting and C&C servers;
High-speed or unauthorized network scanning (Masscan, ZMap), IP range sweeping, port mapping, or vulnerability probing;
Participation in public BitTorrent distribution, shared node seedboxes, and public torrent tracker hosting;
Brute-forcing, credential stuffing, network sniffing, traffic tampering, and IP spoofing;
Mass automated connections to open proxies, running unauthenticated open relay proxies;
Mass spam mailings (email or messenger spam), including abuse through port 25 (SMTP is closed by default).

Resource & Hardware Usage Restrictions

Physical node resources are shared among virtual instances. Users must not generate destructive workloads:

Cryptocurrency mining in any form (CPU/GPU or Proof-of-Capacity/Chia disk mining);
Continuous 100% disk subsystem flooding (I/O abuse) or network bandwidth saturation degrading performance for neighboring servers;
Circumventing CPU, RAM, disk quotas, or network traffic rate limits.

NAT VPS Specific Rules & Zero-Tolerance Policy

NAT VPS plans share a common public IPv4 address with dedicated port ranges. Therefore, higher network security standards apply:

Any AUP violation on a NAT VPS directly endangers dozens of fellow clients sharing the same IPv4 (blacklisting in Spamhaus, RKN, Cloudflare);
A Zero-Tolerance policy applies to NAT VPS: detected network scanning (Masscan), spam, public BitTorrent, or DDoS results in instant, permanent termination;
Port sniffing, attempting to intercept traffic of other clients, or binding unassigned ports outside the allocated 999-port pool is forbidden;
NAT VPS is designed for personal remote access, bots, dev/staging, private gaming servers, and testing environments.

Enforcement & Termination Consequences

Upon receiving abuse complaints or detecting malicious activity, the Provider reserves the right to:

Suspension or termination for AUP violations does not constitute a voluntary service cancellation. In this case, no refunds (including unused period balance) are provided in any form.

Throttle resources or network bandwidth;
Suspend the server or lock the User account without prior notice;
Permanently delete the infringing server along with disks and assigned network ports without possibility of recovery.
